THE SIX STEPS OF TIRE PRE-TRIP MAINTENANCE INSPECTIONS:

1. Check your tires for proper inflation. If its PSI falls 20% below its targeted level, replace the tire. Also, dual tires should be within 10 PSIs of each other.
2. It is important that you secure your valve caps properly.
3. Look for tread wear and check proper tread depth.
4. Check for tire cuts or bulges in the sidewall.
5. Check wheel and lug nut conditions. Make sure there is no rust or bends.
6. Inspect suspension components.
