Vector Fleet technicians are provided continuous training and education opportunities ensuring they stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automotive service affiliations & certifications.

Additionally, VFM offers a range of incentives and bonuses to motivate technicians to pursue further certifications and enhance their expertise.

In addition, VFM has implemented a comprehensive performance evaluation system that assesses technicians’ skills, knowledge, and work quality. This evaluation assists in identifying areas of improvement and creates a roadmap for ongoing training and development. Moreover, VFM dedicates itself to creating a culture of excellence and professional growth, and the training and certification compensation plan reflects this commitment. Furthermore. VFM understands the importance of having technicians who specialize in emergency vehicle maintenance. To ensure the highest level of expertise in this area, technicians undergo specialized training and earn certifications from manufacturers, such as OEM and EVT affiliations.

As a basic requirement for their classification, our technicians must earn an EVT (Enforcement Vehicle Technician) qualification. Vector provides ASE study materials and the Vector Technical Institute portal features practice tests that can be taken at any time. VFM will use various state training programs and two major exam dates each year to achieve an Enforcement Vehicle Technician certificate.

VFM has received the certification of ASE Blue Seal of Excellence at several of our fleet management sites.

We utilize a multi-channel approach to ongoing training. We provide:

  • VFM In-house Coursework
  • OEM developed training – this training supports the OEM brands utilized by our clients
  • The vendor provides instructions through our vendor partners.
  • Industry recognized training and certification (ASE, EVT)

VFM provides safety meetings daily, weekly, and monthly. Daily tool box standup meetings, weekly safety meetings with specific topics and monthly OSHA training. All safety training will be monitored and recorded.
